RE: {Chrysler 300} Pasadena Meet Side-trip Questions

Keith and all,

It has been many years since I visited the Nethercutt facility.  The museum contains myriad autos one would die for.  They are all placed on or removed from their position via an air float contraption so the polished stone floor will not be damaged.  The top floor contains many huge music boxes imported from Europe.  There is a pipe organ with a whole wall of pipes.  Hopefully they will play it when you are there.  I am not aware of an admission fee but I have not been there in many years.  I agree, when you are here take the opportunity to.visit it.  In j ju

Across the street is a monstrous building containing probably hundreds of restored vehicles.  Behind the building is a train museum.

I've procrastinated visiting this facility again even though I can see the tower, probably 25 miles away by the way a crow flies.  My home sits at 1,800 ft. above mean sea-level and most of the San Fernando Valley is a nominal 800 to 1,000 feet amsl.

You will not be disappointed if you visit both facilities.  See you at the show with my 300F.

Enjoy, take care and be well.

> Question on the Nethercutt for those that are familiar with it : seems that there’s the “Collection” and the “Museum”. The “Collection” seems to be the more exclusive part of JB’s holdings as it has an admission fee and a scheduled timed entry requirement. We’re thinking that we should probably do both since we well be out there (from Maine) but I’d be interested in thoughts of members that have been to these two venues.
