Jay had an issue with the engine in his Turbine Car and as of last March, the engine has been sent off to Michigan (I think) and is being repaired under the direction of one of the original Chrysler engineers and volunteers. I was told they have a facility set up for it, the car remains in his collection.

On end while idling that's how

Smooth it idled.

Yes - at the Stahl Museum at Fall 2021 Auburn Hills Meet. It's one of the very few that's still operable. Batteries were run down, so couldn't fire it up that day.
