I have owned the light refractor for 42 years. Placing a drop on the lens a shadow at the protection scale, also checks specific gravity of battery electrolyte. Litmus paper, dip in coolant wait at least 20 seconds, compair to scale on bottle.

Curious as to what you folks are using.

Need to get a new one and looking for a good quality unit.

Last one I bought several years ago was bad right out of the wrapper and cost me a flush and refill that I did not really need.
