Do not buy the carpets with mass backing. They won't fit. Ask me how I know. Buy the regular carpets and you will steam them to fit properly. Save your jute padding as much as you are able and patch in if you must with new material.

Hello all,

I could use a new carpet for the 300K. Has anyone used ACC's carpet?

In the 1980's nobody at the time had any decent carpet and on the coupe and convert we had to cut, fit, and bind. I really don't want to go through that again.

If some has used ACC did you get the carpet with the basic backing or the mass backing?

I am concerned about it being too thick around the console with the mass backing.

Thanks for any thoughts or other vendors.
