This car went through the Mecum auction in Indy in May of 2018.It sold for $291,500 which included a 10% commission.

If you go to Mecum's website, you can log in and view results of past auctions. If you go to that auction, Lot F137, you can see all the photos including documents of the decoding from Gil and the 300 Club. It shows the terra cotta colored vinyl top as original to this car.

The car had been owned at one time by former Club member Tom Gerard when it was auctioned in May, 2018. I believe this car was at our Lawton, OK meet hosted by Rob Kern.

Chrysler did offer Terra Cotta, along with White and Black, as 1960 vinyl convertible top colors - very rarely seen.  

Attached are a couple photos of it from Leake’s January 2020 auction of this same ZZ1 - TerraCotta F. Body plate confirms.
