Police, taxi, ambulance, wrecker trucks and limousines could be supplied with Leece-Neville alternators in the mid 1950s, continuing well into the 1970s I remember the Lester power supply in trunks of police vehicles.

I just got home from a trip and can now go through all these emails properly. I noticed in Bob's pictures from Monterey that there is a deflector mounted to the frame behind the right tailpipe. In all the pictures of the car, I can't see if there is one on the other side but I would assume there is. Any other 300Fs have them?

I took photos of Ziegler’s 300F when it came up for auction in Monterey in 2010.  Attached are some of the shots I got that day.  Air cleaners were chrome.
