Being new to the area, having recently relocated to Belton/Temple (slightly more than 2 hours north of Fredericksburg) , I'm looking forward (Forward-Looking) to meeting 'local' area club members in the hopes of seeing fellow Letter Car owners more than once every few years at national meets. If there is enough interest and/or people in attendance, perhaps a 'southern region' sub group can meet on occasion in between the major events. I have joined a mixed makes club in Georgetown, TX that has an emphasis on cars of multiple eras, including 50's and 60's vehicles, but the only Mopar clubs I have found are focused on 'modern' 300's, Challengers, Chargers, Magnums, etc. from this century. I have also found a small group of 30-somethings who are fans of Exner era cars, and they know about 300's, but mostly have 4-door Plymouths and Dodges as that is what they can currently afford. Population density in the great state of Texas is an issue, but it can be overcome with the right amount of enthusiasm. I'm originally from the northeast, and have been a vendor at Carlisle, PA Chrysler events for decades.
See y'all in about a month in beautiful Fredericksburg.
