I can provide some more recent history on this car. Following Lusvardi’s ownership, the car was owned by Jim Gesswein in SD (a dealer) and sold to an unknown party around 2011. The car resurfaced in Sept. 2022 and was sold to Aaron Ruskin of CA at auction on 9/23/22 for $33850. Ruskin contacted me at that time requesting my advice on its value. He ignored my advice and had the car for sale for many months at the unrealistic price of approx.. $69,000. The car was consigned to the recent Mecum Monterrey auction where it was a no sale with a high bid of $35,000. Former club member Gary Burger was on site and examined the car, reporting to me that it essentially looked better in photos than in person, and was not in a condition to justify the high bid in his opinion. Whether or not the car subsequently sold at Mecum as a “bid goes on” in unknown, but it now appears for sale as indicated below. Mark is correct that it is a color change from factory Alabaster. The interior is Goers leather from some years ago and is not a match to factory, or even very close. The carpet should be Tuxedo Red and not black. The tach is aftermarket. On the positive side, engine compt. looks correct and the car is in nice shape overall but not show quality. Running/driving condition unknown. Carl B.
