You broke it. That's a rubber grommet. It pushes through from the other side. It's probably hard as a rock too. The wires are crimped into it, so they can not come out. Usually if you want it correct, you will have to find a good assembly.

I am trying to remover the wires of the front headlight. Did I break this and what’s the right way to take it apart.

Should I just take all the screws out?
