{Chrysler 300} Re: {Chrysler Distributor restoration

I highly recommend The Philbin Group in Portland, OR for rebuilding your distributor.  Philbin Rebuilt Products - Special Services (philbingroup.com)   They completely restored the old and barely functional dual-point distributor from my 1957 300C, replaced worn bushings, verified the vacuum advance, tweaked the advance curve for better performance based on advice from Bob Walker at Hot Hemi Heads, added a Pertronix electronic ignition kit (purchased separately) and repainted the exterior.  The total cost (ten years ago) was about $175 and turnaround was barely a week.

I combined the rebuilt distributor (now with Pertronix) with a 40kV Pertronix coil (bypassed ballast resistor to get constant 12V to distributor and coil), special 7mm spiral wire-wound ignition cables from Kingsborne Wire Werks (REQUIRED with Pertronix to suppress back-EMF!)      kingsbornewires.com/?fbclid=IwAR138YC6ZXIx3CmFdI4EMaEzZOXpOjtc1cId8lF2h4nlQ9cpOkoT6f8zXNk    (760)736-4020    with fine-wire NGK Iridium spark plugs.

After priming the carburetors (auxiliary electric fuel pump) and one pump on the accelerator pedal (set choke and 1 squirt of gas), the 392 Hemi springs to life in less than two revs and runs like never before - I love it!

He only does Mopar distributors and usually has a vendor spot at Carlisle.

or there's this by our own Bob Merritt if you'd like to try it yourself.

Can anyone recommend a good place or person to restore a dual point distributor for a 300H?

Thank you!
