I moderate a car group on facebook. We have to deal with scammers that scrape photos of parts off the internet and try to pass them off as their own. The method I outlined above is how we defeat these fraudsters.

Again, DO NOT send him money.

I have had a want ad for Chrysler 300 Letter Car wheel covers listed for some time on the club website. Well, I received two replies in the last week. One with 57 Imperial wheelcovers (not interested) and one with a set of 300E wheelcovers. So, after multiple emails back & forth, finally get one picture and while not greatest quality, seem reasonable enough.

Question, the seller is a Mr. Issac Armstrong Roosevelt in Sunrise, AZ (northwest of Phoenix), concern is he is not in our 2022 or 2023 directory. Before sending a check off, has anyone in the club heard of this individual or dealt with him on 300 parts?

Sad to be skeptical, but in today's world, not risking any cash to a scam artist reviewing the club ads...
