| I too was contacted last week about an old ad for 57 convert top trim . I did get some from a club member this past year , i should notify Bob to take it down . My bad Was looking for ten years . I could tell a scam by wording , scam guys often send brief two three lines , “ Ate you still looking for….” whereas someone real provides details , typically . They must send 100 hoping to get first nibble As mentioned in other email this happens a lot on hot heads wanted ( a whole long kist of parts wanted ) their list of known active scammers is maybe 50 long updated weekly . Maybe require pix of parts first reply , on our web site that would slow them down a great deal Another scam they claim to be “ parting out” in my case a57 Desoto convert ( right!!!) so they put up a picture lifted from an ad of a nice Desoto convert — . right ! One with 57 Imperial wheelcovers (not interested) and one with a set of 300E wheelcovers. Question, the seller is a Mr. Issac Armstrong Roosevelt in Sunrise, AZ (northwest of Phoenix), concern is he is not in our 2022 or 2023 directory. Before sending a check off, has anyone in the club heard of this individual or dealt with him on 300 parts?
Sad to be skeptical, but in today's world, not risking any cash to a scam artist reviewing the club ads...
