{Chrysler 300} Motors and regulators

Most window motors unbolt from the transmission. Nothing dangerous about it. The transmission is what holds the regulator in place. If the trans part needs service, the window should be separated from the regulator, and the regulator and trans can be removed as a unit. You do NOT need to be drilling holes in you panel. The regulator can be mounted in a vise and the arm clamped before removing the trans.
