The plastic clips go on first with the trim clipped on over it.

It's been a long time since I had mine off and on, but if I remember correctly, you place it on the bottom and then pull up to clip it on the top. That's based on my memory so don't take that as gospel.

The clips are tough to find, so be careful with them.

The clips for the trim on the front fender and the rear trim behind the wheel were also used on a later Cordoba and maybe a couple other applications, so they aren't as hard to find.

There are little rivets protruding from the car body that the plastic trim mounts hook into. the plastic mounts side into the actual trim. I am not sure if I should put the plastic mounts on the car and try to slide the trim pieces on over them, or put all the mounts in the trim pieces and try to line them up with all the little rivets at the same time. At least one of them looks to have been pop riveted to the car by some previous owner.

Anyone have any experience or knowledge of one method or the other
