Hi To All 1960 Chrysler Corporation Convertibles:
You have trunk springs that were only available for 1960 model convertibles. It allowed clearance for the spare tires to be mounted on the side floor.
Your 60 year old springs are tired! If they aren't tired, they eventually will be.
My 300-F had sagging trunk springs. NO ONE HAD OR REPRODUCED THESE SPRINGS. So I had a batch made by a spring manufacturer in Pittsburgh PA.
I sold my classic car garage and settlement is next Tuesday. While cleaning out the last of my stuff, I came across a pair of these NORS springs.
