You can remove the bolt holding the cable adjuster at the trans and unscrew the adjuster wheel all the way and then move the cable to get it into neutral.

Hi all, my 61 300 has had a small engine fire. I need to get the car into neutral to move it, the cables (buttons) don't seem to be working. Anyone have advice or a quick walkthrough on how to get the transmission into neutral?
