RE: {Chrysler 300} Power windows

Just my two cents.

Disclaimer: I’m only familiar with 55-59 power window assemblies.

Do NOT try to remove the motor from the regulator assembly while they are installed in the door or quarter panel. You can and will injure yourself if you try. Instead, remove glass stops, glass, then motor/regulator assembly via opening in lower section of door or quarter. Once this assembly is on the bench, lock the large, spring-driven gear in place with a vice grip or a plain old vice. Only then should you remove the three bolts that hold the motor in place. I’ve done the power windows on my 55 Desoto and 59 Dodge, as well as removed many assemblies from junk yard cars. So I’ve been down this road a few times.
