I think it is ok with rubber wiper hose , but actually, why all this? original hoses are fine usually and color coded stripes on them , all cut to different lengths and molded onto block —it IS under the dash ? Get another harness off junk car same year if somehow destroyed ? The one to engine manifold sometimes gets beat up , splice new length on to old with 3/4” brass nipple under dash ? Dunno for sure. Must fit snugly on the brass nipples of the actuator. That’s how the pushbuttons work—to divert vacuum to one side or the other of the enclosed diaphragm. I was seriously asking for a liquid substance one could jack into each side of the diaphragm to keep it strong and flexible forever. God help us if a diaphragm leaks…. Amazon sells a package of various size brass tubes about a foot long , good to have anyway On this , first never wiggle that block trying to get it off , that breaks off the small plastic nipples Second coat rods of actuators with silicone grease , rubber gets hard where they exit the can , you get a vacuum leak , slow or intermittent action results . Cannot get new stuff , cant open can to fix either. There is a tiny hole in the bottom of vacuum inlet line slows flow . Not sure a good idea but when combined with slight leaks it does not move right Maybe it woukd slam withiut the restriction . --
