I was driving my 1964 300 Sport when those accordion nozzles first came out in San Diego county. I ripped a couple of them right off the bat. They go on fine but that edge of the bumper grabs the ribs and won't let go.

Also, it is a PITA to fuel as the rubber vapor seal gets caught in the body opening.

I noted that there is enough room to raise the neck up a good two inches. That would make it easier to fuel and give it a little more height for the drip.

I also hate that the tank was hit with the undercoat when the car was made.  It soaks up fuel then it drips. 

Has anyone purchased one the Van's fuel tanks?  also, I am thinking of getting another neck and playing cut and weld to raise the neck up.
