I second the KYB comment, with the caveat that it was from what could now be considered many years ago. Sometimes companies rest on their laurels, and newer companies come to the forefront with new/better solutions. It's probably been 15 years since I've purchased shocks for either of my antiques. Just put Monroe struts on my 2015 Ford Flex. KYB wasn't even a listed option on Rock Auto when I looked. The KYB's on my G convertible and Hurst seem to be holding up quite well.
