Did you by chance install a Dana rear end?
I have the 8 3/4 rearend with stock axles and the green bearings. Don't have
enough miles on the car to see if the green bearings will hold up or not. As
I won't be taking any long trips with the car, (just short cruises and car
shows), I don't think I'll have any trouble.
Can't remember the measurment of the rear compared to the stock unit that
was in the car but I know I screwed up on the back spacing. I went with a 5"
back space but the 10" tires hit the springs. I had to put a 1/2" spacer between
the wheel and the drum to get my clearance. Should have gone with a 4 1/2"
back space.
