Wouldn't a motor that revs faster (HP being close to equal) have the edge  in 
a 1/4 mile?  Lighter internals, lighter rods, etc would  give it a quicker 
moment of inertia.   Seems the hemi has some  heavy duty valve train and pistons 
built for what it was made for, the 500 mi  NASCAR circuit and pushing those 
old shoe boxes around.  Us poor folks  dream of owning a hemi, but those 500 
strokers offer a lot of bang for the  buck. (I STILL WOULD RATHER HAVE A 
HEMI!!)  Wadda say, Don?
