No you're not going to find a sure grip, in a popular ratio, for $100.
But you can find complete housings with non suregrips for $100.
I just had a Dana 60 narrowed (for more tire space), with a new gear,
new axles, powdercoated.
I bet I have $1500 or more in those mods.
And I had the Dana to start with.
You're better off starting with a rear that doesn't need to be narrowed
from the start. From a cost factor, I mean.

Jimmy you can get 8 3/4 posi rear-ends that are the same width as a 64
B body original rear-end for $100.00? If you run into one in 389 or
410 let me know it will save me alot of problems. Most of the 8 3/4
rears I find are too wide for the early B bodys. I am just learning on
this car so I appriciate all the help I can get. The older parts are
far and few between in my area. Terry
