Bill,
Bearing in mind that "taste" in sound is subjective, I think that the
Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers have one of the best sounds I have heard; a
classic sixties throaty rumble without the slight twang characteristic of
the Flowmasters. Superb flow numbers, variety of sizes/applications, and
they are relatively inexpensive.
Best way to decide is to listen to them on a car.
I do have a video/audio of my 340 Dart GT w/the Dynomax if you want an "over
the airways" preview; been running fine for 13yrs. now with the H-pipe.

What's everybody running for mufflers? I need to get something else on
my Coronet. It has duals with some pretty huge mufflers on it. The
motor is stock now but not for long and I'd like some recommendations.
I'm a little leary of Flowmasters as I don't want to be mistaken for a
Mustang, but I want some somewhat aggressive...but not super deep. I
had a Gibson cat back dual setup on my 98 Dakota that was one of the
best sounding mufflers I've ever heard...great aggressive tone that
was decent @ cruising but REALLY start talking to you when you jumped
on it.
A local parts store sells some generic flowmasters for ~$30 each, but
I'm not sure if I want to go that way or not.
Rich - How aggressive are your Super Dyno-Max's? Any droning issues
while cruising?
Opinions please!
Thanks everyone!!!

I also got my mufflers replaced today with Super Dyno-Max and an H pipe.
My early tuning efforts blew my other ones to smitherens with an
hellacious backfire. Pretty colorful. Now if I can just get back into
the dyno-tune guy and complete the whole thing.
