well I'm no expert, but I'd check the headlight switch as it controls
the dash
lights too. also, maybe the connections at the bulkhead?
maybe it's time to just replace the headlight wiring system? that's
what I did
after my high beam circuit fried my switch in my Dodge, for the third
time.
I never did find the short? so I just re-did it all.
I used this website to help upgrade my headlight system with relays
etc...

I don't know Daniel Stern personally, but the info in the tech section
worked out great for me, and I have Hella H-4 headlights now, way
brighter then those
old sealed beam headlights.
