Timing Cover

I managed to strip the threads on 2 of the 3 bolt holes on the timing
chain cover while re-installing it.  My shop manual says 30 ft-lbs for
those bolts; seems like that was a bit much for them.

Do the timing covers from newer models interchange with the 62 poly 318?
