Subject: disc brake conversion
1964 Dodge B body warmed 413. I know this has been done to death so please
excuse me. Objective: low cost and over the counter parts.I don't want to
scrounge the salvage yards on this. I am looking at AAJ basic kit and
source new or rebuilt parts from local parts houses as I recieve a
discount from them. Questions: Is a 11" rotor big enough to whoa my car
down quickly, at the dragstrip ? Can the stock suspension(rebuilt) handle
the stronger braking forces? With disc brakes can I expect much better
brakes than drums , without having power brakes?
Any other low cost options? your input is appreciated
