tHE ONE THAT i HAD EXPERIENCE WITH, The pins that go through the core looks
like they are threaded, but were not. I had to cut them into with a single
edge razor blade (scraper). You can buy those installation kits from your
parts house if you want to re-install it. Also for tranny
coolers.....................................MO

Subject: How to remove an electric fan?
I'm putting one of my 64 Sport Furys back to stock as far as the cooling
system goes, so would like to remove the electric fan. How do I disengage
it from the radiator? It looks like there are some kind of plastic tabs
about 1"x3/4" on the front of the radiator in 5 places, with pins that go
through the fins. I don't see where they unscrew or pop off. Any advice is
appreciated. Oh yeah, if my stock cooling system doesn't pan out, can I
reattach the fan? Thanks all. Be nice to mommy! /Butch
