Does this sound about right,,,,,,,

4300 divided by 3.23 = 1331 tire revolutions per min.

70 mph = 1.16 miles per minute

1.16 miles per minute  = 73498  inches per minute of tire  travel

73498 divided by 1331 tire revs. = 55.2 tire circumference

55.2 divided by 3.14 = 17.58 inch tall tire,,,,,,,

If your tires are taller than this,,,,,,,, your tach is  off,,,,,,,,
