all the boxes will physically  interchange in a and b bodies. Slant
six a body boxes are lighter duty inside. I think the used bushing
instead of bearings. However Pittman arms are a different matter.
Pittman arms are specific to a  & b body. I dont know about c- body
boxes. I BELIEVE the boxes are the same as A and B. One time though I
tried to use a 64 A body  box in a 67 A body ( or was it the other way
around?) and the hookup with steering wheel input shaft was different,
even though, yes, the box itself was identical. Also remember manual
and power boxes have different lengths, so u need to adjust one way ot
the other at steering wheel input shaft.
