Thick carb gasket works too...as does blocking the heat X-over in the
intake, if you don't need the heat.

Subject: hot starting & fuel?
I'm starting a new subject topic. Jacob had asked about delayed starting
when his 1964 Chrysler engine is hot.
Modern "gas" is designed with fuel injected systems in mind.
I'm wondering if that fuel pump heat shield Don, Nick and Rich have reported
on is something Jacob should consider?
Thanks,
Gary H.
...Its got 110k miles. Fires right up.... when the motors hot it takes a
second to start. Usually If I just keep it cranking it'll fire. I haven't
done a tune up yet since I bought it...idk if that's the problem but I
hear something about gas boiling off. Maybe y'all can help me or steer me
in a direction. Thanks!
