The cone type is a replacement so you don't have to pull the torsion bars.
They work fine. You can cut out the inside bushing and push the small in
toward the LCA. I have used them on both my 65 Satellites and they work
fine.

Eh, I just ordered Moog donut bushings, forget the cone style. But
if anyone has info on using the cone type in place of the donut I'm

have to compress the new cone bushing at lead 3/4" - 1" to get the
bolt holes on the strut rod to line up with the lower control arm. I

through one side with that much pressure.

I have the cone bushings installed with the cone towards the back of
the car.
