It is for a street car. I have heard the argument too. You need them to 
install disc brakes. Guess I will learn the answer thru experience.
I replaced them for a failed stock bearing.

Ollie, is this for a strip car? I ask because there are "those" that say 
that the green bearings will fail in short time if used on a street car. 
Something to do with turning vrs straight line driving. I have not seen 
this, just have heard.
