It used to be the case that virtually every vendor was selling the  
same product, made by ACC. If that's still the case, then the same  
rule applies - patronize the place you prefer to do business with or  
shop for the best possible price.

A lot has happened since I last knew this to be true. IIRC, the main  
guys from ACC died in a plane crash. With the seemingly increasing  
imports from China, I would not be surprised if there were other  
sources or at least other importers of the same sources.

I'm sort of curious as to how things are now with soemthing as  
seemingly trivial as restoration carpets. There shouldn't be anything  
special about what he's looking for that would make it any more  
difficult to find than the carpet for any other car in this group.
