Wow
............   https://www.seatbeltplanet.com/ From: 1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
[mailto:1962to1965mopars@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of
glpavlovich@xxxxxxx Ricky,   I am using
four-point retractable Y-harness for my Plymouth and the lap belt positioning
should be 15-20” apart and the “retractor” bracket must not interfere with the
underside of your seat when it is fully extended rearward.  Given that
info, push your front seat fully rearward and mount your center retractor (if
floor mounted behind the seat as mine is...) 1-2” from the seat so as not to
interfere with seat movement and still out of back seat passengers feet...as
much as possible.   However, you are
probably using the more common/popular retractable lap belt assembly and there
are detailed instructions to mount them securely to the floor (in our 1960’s
vehicles) at an approx. 70 degree angle.  There are many helpful diagrams
on-line; my preferred vendor is SeatBelt Planet; check them out on-line...and
you always receive and answer/call pick up from “Steve,” who is most
helpful. Gary
P.     Anyone using
retractable seat belts?  Picture of where you mounted the
retractor?   https://www.retrobelt.com/collections/all/1962+dodge+dart   I like the
aviation style – but wondering if the retractors have anywhere they will
work........   Thanks. -- -- -- -- Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
