in 1965 the chrysler new yorker had clear tail light lenses.  until the
brakes were applied, the bulbs were in a red plastic housing beneath the
clear plastic tail light lens.

some where in the 1965 model run, they changed to red lenses.  i was waiting
for bill to fill us in on the real info.

but i have a friend who has the clear tail light lenses.  i always thought
that they were cool......
