I was planning on mounting them on an extra set of rims and changing them at the track. It means i have to bring a jack and find a spot to plot the jack and extra rims while racing, but i usually go with few guys so they would be safe. Thye feul lineand all brake lines are on my list of things to do, thanks. My hole reason for going the last 2 times was to find out where i was before making mods, so i can see how much of a difference the new stuff ads to the combo... Thanks for all the help guys.

try a mickey thompson 28.0/9.0-15, #3054. they work fairly well for
street/strip set up. these are real drag slicks. with a 3.55 or 3.91 sure-grip your
combo will wake up. i've heard some good things about the mickey thompson drag
radials. the only thing i have against the m/t drag radials is that the
275-60x15 is about 10lbs apiece heavier than a regular slick. of course with the
slick, driving them to the track ain't a good idea.
i'd look for some missing power. start with the fuel system. check pump
pressure and flow, look for any restrictions in the fuel lines. i picked up 4mph
on my 69 r/t by replacing a bad line at the tank. good luck!
