Our hobby is continually under threat. First New Jersey, then your
State?

Home of the 2004 Mopar Atlantic Nationals, the Old Bridge Township
Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey needs your help and support!

All other tracks in New Jersey need your help too.

Legislation is pending in New Jersey that will have a serious
impact on the way motorsport facilities operate within the state.
Old Bridge Township Raceway Park calls the legislation's rules "blatant
attempts to put race facilities out of business in the state of New
Jersey."

The legislation prohibits operation of motor vehicles on motor vehicle
race tracks in the State located within one-mile radius of residential
housing and use of public address systems at such race tracks between
certain hours on certain days.

Visit http://www.racewaypark.com/ for the complete details on the
legislation and how you can help protect your rights as fans of racing
and car shows.

Thanks to Rich in St. Louis for alerting me about this newest threat to
our hobby. When the subdivisions are built within one mile of your local
race facility, will it face closure? Guess what legislative bill your
local anti-car legislator will copy if this N.J. bill becomes law?

'62 to '65 Mopar Mail List members in New Jersey please act on behalf of
us all.

Thanks,
Gary H.

Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. I.e., send parts/car transactions and negotiations as well as other personal messages only to the intended recipient, not to the Clubhouse public address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
