FYI,
Another yard is closing. Desert Valley in Phoenix has sold their land to
Wal*Mart. I was there last week, is sounded like some cars will be moved
but most may be crushed.

I just went to new junkyard here in North Carolina. It is called Terry's
Southern Automotive and the guy that owns it was one of the ones that built a
classic car junkyard that just closed up back in the spring called Bingham
Automotive. He told me that he is getting mostly 80's and 90's cars for selling
off some parts and mostly for crushing. He said then he plans on using the
money from the late model stuff to get older cars. His goal is to have all
old cars in his yard. Already he probably has about 30-50 oldies in a yard of
about 150-250. HE then told me that there is some old man that has about
500 old cars stashed in his woods that he had hauled in over the years that he
never parted out. He said, "There's stuff like 50 Mercs!". I wish him all
the luck and infact I plan on helping him out in anyway I can. I will have to
keep everyone posted if he gets anything we can use!
