Hi Don,
I opened it up and it has flat pistons without valve reliefs.  However;
it does have a faint line on the pistons like the valves might have
"kissed" the pistons lightly.  I am fairly sure they are cast pistons
since they have the steel strut in them and what appears to be some type
of casting markings.  It's a solid lifter cam, but I can't see any
manufacturer info on the cam.

I think you bought an already built engine. Sometimes you fet lucky.
With adjustable rockers , dual valve spring and teflon seals it is
definatley not a stock one. 
I wonder what pistons are in it. With or without valve reliefs. You
might be able to see looking in the spark plug hole
