If they are the same as a 65 coronet, and i think they are; then try this: (its been a while since I have done this...)

take off the door panel
roll down the window until you see where the glass bolts into the slider mechanism, on mine there were two bolts that held the glass onto the slider. you see (and access) these through the holes that are factory cut in the door. carefully hold the glass while you take the two bolts out and lift the glass up and out. even with the bolts out you can slowly and carefully use the window crank to help bring glass up the channels.


for the wing windows i took them off with the frame, all in one assembly. this is going to be a little harder to describe. if you are sitting in the car with the door open, do the following:
the frame is comprised of the chrome around the vent window and the front channel that the main door glass slides in.
there are two (allens or big phillips?) on the narrow part of the door where the weatherstrip is, the inside narrow part of the door that when the door is closed is closest to the hinges. they are up high on the door close to the vent window frame. if you are facing the door from inside like i said above, at one end of the door is the latch mechanism at the other is the spot where the hinges bolt to the door, these two allens or phillip screws are on the same side that the hinges bolt to, but they are up high by the vent window frame.
there are two more bolts at the bottom of the vent window, right below where you latch the vent window, at the left and right lower corners of the triangular shaped window frame.
finally, there are two more that are on the channel. one is up high the other you have to get at through a hole in the lower part of the door. just look inside the door at the channel and you will see the bolts at the top and bottom of the channel.
once you take these out the whole frame just lifts right up and out of the door.


i thought this would be easy to describe with words, but now that i have written it, i can see that it isn't... sorry. i tried.

In a '64 Polara 500 2 dr, how do I:

#1 - remove the vent window and assembly?
#2 - get the windows out of the doors?
