 I gotta agree with Tracy.Get one carb on it first.Need cam specs 
too,but that doesn't mean it was installed/degree'd correctly.I'll 
concur that detonation is likely with 11.0-1 compression and STEEL 
heads.Maybe that's why he had it running so fat and called it good.
