Re: Welcome new member - 1962 Plymouth Fury convertible

Yes, welcome Chip! Great to have you join the group of 1962 to 1965 Mopars, and of course the subset that loves the
1962 Plymouths. :)

Some 1962 Fury models seemingly had bench seats like this link with the taller backrest for the driver, shown in a
claimed original still with plastic people used to install to protect the seats back then...

https://cdn.dealeraccelerate.com/gaa/29/15743/67729/790x1024/1962-plymouth-fury

and some, like yours, used the fold down arm rest in the front bench seat with the even backrests.

I don't know why the two styles. Was one front seat style a mid-year option?

The 1962 Sport Fury had a dual color with bucket seats option, as Mark noted:

As for the 8.75 there is a paragraph about "SureGrip or peg leg rear end differential?" on the Tech Page.

Thanks,
Gary H.

Please address private email -- email of interest to only one person -- directly to that person. That is, email your parts/car transactions and negotiations, as well as other personal messages, only to the intended recipient. Do not just press "reply" and send your email to everyone using the general '62-'65 Clubhouse public email address. This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine-tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
