Agree about the buffering. Had/ have that on my 89 Dodge Daytona Shelby
 Resolution- pop the hatchback lock over 35mph. However No hatchback on that 65 concept.

Mercurysedans  had roll down, reverse angle  rear windows- late 50s.  
Flow thru ventilation NOT new!
CAMERO dud not invent 'ASTRO Ventilation' in 1969.

Even Jaguar XJs ( 6cyl & V12 saloons/ sedans70s/80s had flaps covering 'exit vents' behind rear 'not package' shelf..

As they aged, the flap adhesive would loosen & we ended up with 'cow bells' at highway speeds.
