Re: 1960s Chrysler | Legendary Factory Lightweight Drag Racing Warriors | The Bloodline of Muscle

Gary, great video ! Just as a note Yeakel was a major player for Wedge cars back then and is listed in the Lost Muscle Car dealerships. I have attached a picture of one of
their earliest Max Wedge Plymouths. I believe this was fall of 1962 with Driver Bruce Morgan - very successful driver back then. Yes brand new 426 for $2599 what a deal.

The car looks very close to this today and is owned by my Brother. I have a match to his Plymouth only in a 330 Dodge Ramcharger that is original day two - still has most
of its original paint. They both get driven locally and few folks know what they are but they do get lots of attention even now days. .

Hi all,

An 8:45 video to help you start your week off.

I guess the "lightweight" qualifier in the title made them leave off the 1962 Max Wedge cars, though they *were" lighter
than the competition's "full size" offerings. :)

Fun visuals.  The first 5 minutes are the best, of course. LOL (Are there are some little mistakes made?)
Don't know about the 1966 up years statements made.

Thanks,
Gary H.
