To each their own, who knows why. Maybe the car was for more than exclusively on dragstrips? But that duty was the
role for the 426 street wedge. Perhaps the buyer was unable to snag the aluminum front end option?
Of course, investing in serious Mopar drag racing in 1964 would mean *Hemi* after the 426 Hemi was made available in
the B-Body cars, though the Max Wedge cars remained cool. :)
