Re: schneider cams

Schneider reground my poly cam when I overhauled my engine 4 years ago. Just a smidge more lift and duration than stock (have to do that when regrinding as the base circle diameter gets smaller when grinding). The cam works great. I purchased new Sealed Power tappets and sent my OEMs to Schneider for cores they could regrind and sell.

I don't see that advance / retard feature mentioned on their website.

But I did notice they wrote: "We are currently out of Poly Cams until further notice. As such we are limited to regrinds
only at this time, on your core."

Looking around I was surprised to see that Schneider racing cams are
  still around.
Anyway weren't they the ones that back in the day had some system
whereby your cam would actually advance or retard in relation to rpm.?
I remember Don Dulmage here praising those cams and saying they
  actually worked.
