Re: Max Wedge Plugs, Preferences?

In my 1962 Dodge with 413 block bored to 426 I have always used Champion J12YC

cpn-14_us_xl.jpg

Spark Plug, J12YC, Copper Plus, Gasket Seat, 14mm Thread, .380 in. Reach, Non-Resistor, Each

Shorty Spark Plug: No

Resistor: No

Electrode Core Material: Copper

Electrode Tip Material: Copper

Insulator Type: Projected

Spark Plug Thread Size: 14mm

Spark Plug Reach: 0.380 in.

Spark Plug Seat Style: Gasket

Wrench Diameter: 3/8 in.

Ground Strap Quantity: One

Quantity: Sold individually.

Notes: Small engine plug.

These Champion Copper Plus spark plugs have been original equipment on a wide variety of engines for many years. They feature nickel alloy centers and ground electrodes with reasonably good wear characteristics. In addition, the Champion Copper Plus spark plugs' extrusion of copper into the center electrode allows for increased conductivity and heat control. Manufacturers have used them in non-automotive applications, such as lawn and garden and other power equipment. Replace your old plugs with these Champion Copper Plus spark plugs for maximum reliability.

Ive been using the Autolite 2976’s for a very long time.  They have always worked well.
Since time goes on id like to re-evaluate if I should try something else?   Anything else in a “shorty” preferred.

I welcome your thoughts.

Best to all for a safe and happy 4th!
