RE: Fan shroud



That shroud looks correct. I have a 65 plymouth belvedere and used that shroud. I made a bracket that mounted to the bolts that hold the radiator in and I bolted those factory brackets to that. Then the shroud to those factory brackets. I did it that way so I can disassemble it and then take the fan out. It helped a little it don't seal perfectly you will have to stuff the gaps with weather stripping. As far as clutch fan I couldn't fit one on my car. I used flex fans I had to go small. Mine wasn't centered. I have a 440. I'm not sure if yours is farther back then the 440 or will be centered. Hope this helps you. I don't know if they make a shorter water pump for the 440, I dont think so. The engine is to far forward in our cars,  I guess they did that for the factory race exhaust manifolds.

This is going to be the first of a few question I have, thinking of putting a fan shroud on my stick 361, just to have more piece of mind on the hot days. I have the stock four blade fan with a 318 AC radiator, I do have a big block radiator, that numbers say it's from 62, going to have it tested at a shop.  Also have( 2 ) 7 blade clutch fans, haven't check if there clearance is good yet. I bought this shroud years ago and notice I might be missing the mounting brackets, I understand how it mounts to the radiator with the square nuts that go into rad, does anyone pics to confirm the shroud mounting, Thanks John
