Bingo. And I dimpled the radius around the
shock tower to make it look like crappy factory welds 😊
I had the same issues with the inner myself on my 65
Belvedere. The alignment hole did not have flange facing into
the engine compartment and the top edge wasn't rolled. Hammer
and dolly fixed everything.
